The Role
Reporting into the Vice President for Sales & Marketing UK and Ireland at ABM, you will be responsible for new business sales for the Business & Industry Division (B&I) in the UK which is circa £300m T/O. Managing a business development/bid team based out of offices in London and Heathrow towards a collective target. There is already an existing pipeline that needs to be managed effectively, and the key focus will be on growing key vertical markets such as manufacturing & distribution, real estate, life sciences, retail, aviation and some public sector whilst leading and motivating the team. Focusing primarily on bids up to £10m including engineering & maintenance services and TFM.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will need to be ambitious and have the ability and experience to be able to grow the pipeline and a proven track record of delivering new business. You will need to have worked for a FM provider selling into the UK market at a senior level although you don’t have to have been a Sales Director previously as a proven Business Development Director who is ready for the next stage of their career is also considered. The role is UK wide but a large number of the clients and both main offices are in the South East and therefore you will need to be able to travel to this area weekly. My client is very keen to find the right personality to lead the team and once this individual is found really help develop their career and invest in their future.

Remuneration
Circa 130k basic salary, plus health, car allowance, bonus up to 20% and pension.
