We are looking for an individual to join our friendly, growing team. Handyman / Multi-Trade Operative Required – Temporary Position (Potential Permanent Role).

MCS Contract Services Ltd is looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Multi-Trade Operative to join our team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Location: Based in North London (N19) – applicants living within approximately 5 miles of N19 are preferred.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Rate Of Pay: £160 per day, paid monthly by bank transfer.

The Role: You will be carrying out a variety of property maintenance and refurbishment works, including:

  • Painting and decorating
  • Wall and floor tiling
  • Basic plastering and patch repairs
  • General carpentry
  • Minor plumbing and maintenance works
  • General handyman duties
  • Dry lining

Requirements:

  • Good all-round multi-trade skills
  • Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Full UK driving licence preferred, but not essential
  • Own tools are essential
