We are recruiting for a Site Manager to join our development in Glasgow!

Location: Glasgow (candidates commutable from Glasgow, Clydebank, Paisley, Barrhead, East Kilbride, Motherwell, Airdrie, Bishopbriggs, M8 corridor)

Our Site Managers lead and manage the delivery of large-scale mixed-use developments across the Group and require support on a commercial to PBSA conversion scheme in the centre of Glasgow.

The role will be working closely with Project Managers to manage a 290-unit scheme in Glasgow but with the opportunity to progress with further schemes in the future.

We are a successful and entrepreneurial property development and investment company working across the UK with a pipeline in excess of 9,000 residential units, multiple commercial sites including hundreds of acres of new warehousing and many other commercial units.

Key Skills

  • Minimum 3 years site management experience
  • Experienced contracting background PM with city centre project experience - ideally PBSA / Apartments
  • Refurbishment Experience preferred (office to PBSA conversion)
  • Skilled in managing design teams, subcontractors to deliver the employers requirements on a fast-tracked, turnkey programme for our PBSA operating platform - Flow
  • Skilled in day-to-day management of site staff and subcontractors
  • Skilled in leadership, organised, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams will be essential to success in this role
  • You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable negotiating with subcontractors and consultants, in a professional and confident manner
  • Applicants must be IT literate, with strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate and well-structured project records.
  • A valid CSCS card is required, along with relevant construction-related qualifications and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities Include But Is Not Limited To The Following

  • Assist Project Managers with the overall management of the project, to ensure the scheme is delivered on time, budget and to the Group's quality standard
  • Taking full control of onsite Site Management and delivery
  • Keeping up to date site files / audits
  • Working to programme, identify / reporting issues
  • Taking full responsibility of on-site Health and Safety - must hold valid SMSTS and CSCS cards
  • Ensuring stringent quality standards are adhered to.
  • Managing site teams to ensure compliance with HSE, Building Control
  • Working as part of a management team
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Refurbishment Experience preferred

Salary: Circa Β£45-60,000 per annum, depending on experience (DOE).

Hours: 8am to 5pm
