Key Responsibilities
- Complete various construction tasks independently as required for the project
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across the construction site
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up when required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Respond to immediate site needs and urgent repair requirements
- Support the Project Managers when required
- Complete snagging work and finishing details
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Keep records of completed tasks
- Follow all health and safety protocols
- Assist with material handling and organisation when needed
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction/maintenance roles (minimum 2 years)
- Multi-skilled with abilities across various trades (carpentry, basic plumbing, general building work)
- Experience with breaking out/cutting slabs, installing handrails and similar construction tasks
- Competent in using power tools and construction equipment
- Valid CSCS card
- Basic understanding of construction site operations
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Full UK driving license
Tools & Equipment
- Must have own basic tools
- Specialist tools will be provided by the site as required
Working Conditions
- Primary base: Oxford House, Aylesbury, HP19 7BU
- Willingness to travel to other sites occasionally required
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm
- Potential for occasional weekend work during critical phases
- Physically demanding role requiring lifting, carrying, and working in various positions
