We are currently seeking a SHEQ Manager to join our busy H&S team to oversee our entire portfolio. The role will involve managing projects throughout the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced thriving business with opportunities for growth and development.

As a senior member of the team, you will manage a team of SHEQ Advisors to support projects in the delivery of the company's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy. You will ensure managers assume full responsibility for their normal activities on every site. The role requires travel across England and Scotland, providing operational teams and SHE advisors with the necessary advice and guidance.

You will act as the main point of contact for advice and expertise on Health & Safety matters to project teams, ensuring the effectiveness of the Construction, Commercial and Residential properties phase plans during the lifecycle of the project. Your daily functions will include:

  • Participating in site safety meetings
  • Conducting H&S Audits & Sensible Monitoring Inspections
  • Providing monthly H&S data & safety stats to Directors

Ideally, you will hold a Diploma (or equivalent) in Health & Safety, or construction NEBOSH, with 5 years of experience in a senior SHEQ position within a construction-based contractor.
