Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of maintenance operatives and cleaners covering the Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire regions.
  • Plan and deliver maintenance schedules, conduct regular inspections and respond promptly to any issues.
  • Coordinate external contractors when work cannot be completed in‑house, ensuring all activities meet expected standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgets for maintenance and cleaning operations, identify opportunities for cost savings, and maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
  • Support the wider team with any additional facilities‑related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a facilities maintenance management role and proven experience leading a team.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety requirements and experience managing budgets.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and a flexible approach to occasional work outside normal business hours.
  • Valid driver's licence.
