We are recruiting a Plumber (Multi-Skilled) to join our team in High Wycombe and surrounding areas such as Luton, Aylesbury, Chatham and Feltham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and deliver property maintenance services, undertaking repair activities predominantly within our commercial properties.
MCR Homes is a leading independent real estate investment and development company, operating nationally with offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow. Our primary focus lies in developing new build and conversion residential, industrial projects and managing a diverse portfolio covering every asset class, which includes around 7,500 residential plots and commercial/industrial assets exceeding £2 billion in value.
Responsibilities- To ensure that all works are undertaken in a safe manner in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
- To undertake project work as directed by the Block or Lettings Manager.
- To communicate effectively and work productively with all other staff.
- Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times.
- Undertake duties, as required, that contribute to the effective operation of the business.
- To work in accordance with all MCR policies and procedures.
- Minimum of L2 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Joinery and relevant experience.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Sound knowledge of building construction, components, building trades and applicable building regulations.
- Proven ability to deliver a quality repairs service.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations, regulation and ACOPS relevant to the post and associated tasks undertaken within it, in line with HASAWA 1974.
- Experience of working within a commercial and domestic property maintenance environment.
- Plumbing qualifications.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 with every completed year to a maximum of 25 days.
