Salary: £12.71 - £13.50 per hour

Job Purpose

To prepare, cook, and present a high-quality breakfast offering, including both cooked and continental options, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction and smooth kitchen operations during breakfast service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook full English breakfast and other hot menu items to a consistent standard
  • Set up and maintain the continental breakfast buffet (pastries, cereals, fruits, cold items)
  • Ensure all food is fresh, well-presented, and replenished promptly
  • Manage breakfast service efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety (HACCP)
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Ensure kitchen and service areas are kept clean and organised at all times
  • Minimise waste and control portioning
  • Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Requirements & Skills

  • Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of breakfast preparation and service
  • Ability to work independently and manage early morning shifts
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organised

Working Hours

Early morning shifts (typically 6am – 12 pm depending on business levels). Includes weekends and bank holidays.
