About the Role
We are currently seeking a Banking Solicitor to join our team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced, thriving business offering genuine opportunities for growth and development. Working closely with the Board, the successful candidate will join at Associate or Senior Associate level (depending on experience) and will play a key role in supporting the company’s funding requirements. This position offers exposure to high‑quality work within a collaborative and forward‑thinking team environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and ancillary documentation, as well as reviewing property titles and negotiating release documentation. The role will involve a broad range of general banking matters, including direct engagement with funders and the negotiation of commercial terms.
About you
You will have between three and seven years’ PQE, ideally gained within a regional or national law firm, and demonstrable experience across a wide range of banking and finance transactions. You will possess a strong academic background and sound technical grounding, combined with a commercial mindset and confident client‑handling skills. You will be collaborative, self‑motivated and comfortable operating within a growing and dynamic team. Familiarity with offshore jurisdictions would be advantageous, though is not essential.
