We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast paced environment and are passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in Sunderland and play a key role in supporting the day to day operation of our student accommodation.

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our residents, visitors and contractors, providing a welcoming and professional service. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.

Role includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Visitor Management: Greeting residents, visitors and contractors and signing them into the building
  • Communication: Answering, screening and forwarding phone calls to the relevant departments within three rings
  • Scheduling: Managing the meeting room calendar and coordinating appointments
  • Managing and responding to the shared email inbox
  • Environment Control: Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area, communal spaces and meeting rooms
  • Stock Control: Ordering and replenishing stationery, kitchen supplies and cleaning materials, ensuring communal areas are adequately stocked at all times
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries in a timely manner
  • Administration Duties: Supporting site management and senior leadership as required
  • Assisting residents with general enquiries and providing support where needed

Skills & Requirements:

  • Professional, positive and confident telephone manner
  • Previous front of house or reception experience required
  • Professional, presentable and business appropriate attire
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience within student accommodation, hospitality or residential settings would be advantageous
