Job Title: Hotel night Receptionist
Location: Kensington, London
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Night Receptionist to join the team at our 38-room boutique hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting guests during the night
- Completing check-ins and check-outs
- Handling guest enquiries and requests professionally
- Answering telephone calls and emails
- Managing reservations and updating the hotel system
- Carrying out night audit and basic end-of-day procedures
- Monitoring the hotel and ensuring the security of guests and the property
- Dealing calmly and appropriately with any overnight issues or emergencies
- Completing basic paperwork and handover for the morning team
Requirements
- Previous hotel/reception experience is desirable
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Reliable, responsible and well-presented
- Good attention to detail
Experience in a hotel night reception or night audit role is an advantage, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
