Overall Objectives:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Joiner to undertake residential and commercial property repair projects resulting from insurance claims. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality 1st and 2nd fix joinery, roofing, kitchens, flooring, mouldings, and ironmongery.
  • Carry out minor building works and maintenance joinery services for insurance reinstatement projects.
  • Assess required scope of works on site and complete repairs to pre-incident conditions.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, material handling, and safety at all times.
  • Work in both occupied and unoccupied properties, maintaining professional customer service.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure repair works are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate effectively with the project management team regarding material needs and progress updates.
  • Adhere strictly to company health and safety policies across all job sites.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must be time-served or appropriately qualified (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Able to demonstrate relevant, proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix joinery.
  • High level of experience and sound knowledge in the delivery of minor building and maintenance joinery services.
  • Valid Construction Skills Register (CSR) Card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working specifically on insurance-related property repairs.
  • Multi-skilled trades experience would be of benefit (e.g., basic tiling, plaster patching, or plumbing).
