The Role - Despatch Operative:
- To ensure that all vehicles are loaded and work is carried out safely.
- To ensure that hygiene and cleanliness standards of all personnel and equipment are maintained.
- To ensure the customer requirements are met by accurately picking and checking depot orders.
- To administer and update all required documentation & records relating to stock control & deliveries.
- To ensure that agreed daily cleaning schedules, routines and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Ensure that the wastage of materials, products and services is kept to a minimum.
Required Experience:
- Verbal communication
- Strong numeracy skills
- Manual handling - ideally within a chilled FMCG environment
- Ability to work well within a team or on own initiative
- Attention to detail
- Desire to learn
