McQueen's Dairies is a family brand that provides customers with the nostalgic experience of doorstep milk deliveries. In our Dairy in East Kilbride, we are looking for Production Operatives to work on our glass bottle washers and fillers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards of all personnel and equipment are maintained.
- Achieve daily production requirements as set by the production management team.
- Administer and update all required documentation and records related to filler operation.
- Ensure fillers and production equipment are properly cleaned and sterilised.
- Ensure that agreed daily cleaning schedules, routines and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Minimise wastage of materials, products and services.
- Carry out average weight testing in accordance with company procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Numeracy and literacy.
- Ability to work well within a team or independently.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a FMCG environment, preferably food manufacturing.
