Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have experience in commercial driving. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of daily work completed
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Provide excellent customer service while delivering goods to clients\’ locations.
• Assist with minor mechanical repairs or maintenance as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues.

Experience

• Class 2 licence is essential for this role
• Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a commercial setting.
• A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is required.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate records and ensuring safe transportation of goods.
