Mco Beauty is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager to drive retail execution, shopper engagement, and trade marketing initiatives for MCoBeauty across the UK. This role will focus on maximising brand visibility, in-store activation, and retailer partnerships to drive conversion at the point of sale. The ideal candidate has experience in trade marketing, shopper insights, and retail strategy, particularly within the beauty or FMCG sectors.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Trade Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement trade marketing plans to support retail sales and brand growth. Lead execution of in-store activations, POS displays, and promotional campaigns with key retailers. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure trade strategies align with commercial objectives. Manage retail media plans and shopper marketing budgets, ensuring effective ROI.
- Retailer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with retailers (e.g., Superdrug, Kruidvat) to drive in-store brand presence. Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, eCommerce) to align trade marketing strategies. Partner with retail buyers and category managers to develop joint marketing initiatives.
- Shopper Insights & Data Analysis: Analyse shopper behaviour, category trends, and retail sales data to inform strategies. Monitor trade marketing performance and recommend optimisations based on key metrics. Work with finance and analytics teams to measure ROI on trade spend.
- POS & Promotional Planning: Develop compelling point-of-sale (POS) materials to enhance brand visibility. Plan and execute seasonal promotions, in-store sampling, and experiential activations. Ensure all retail marketing assets align with MCoBeauty’s brand guidelines.
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or retail marketing, ideally in beauty, FMCG, or consumer goods.
- Strong understanding of retail environments, shopper behaviour, and category management.
- Experience managing trade budgets, retail activations, and POS development.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in shopper insights and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills for working with retailers and internal teams.
