About the role of Project Manager:

You will work closely with our design and estimating team pre-construction to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, plan resourcing and programme, embed safety in design and delivery, engage with the consultant team and facilitate commercial relationships.

You will take this knowledge onto the job, where you will be exceptional at getting your team on board with the vision of the project. Utilising your team, you will manage the project budget, costs on site, variations, payment schedules and all mandatory reporting. You will be accountable for team performance, setting expectations, creating opportunities, understanding individuals’ motivators and tapping into their unique strengths.

You will drive the vision for your projects and manage the overall programme, adjusting as you go to create opportunities and respond to change. You will also manage the head contract, letting schedule and subcontract/supply agreements, and own the client relationship, engaging regularly to ensure their needs are met and contract conditions are being executed.

We work collaboratively at McNab, we celebrate our achievements together and we have each other’s backs. We show up every day knowing that we’re all working towards the same goal, with our clients, our subcontractors and our suppliers. About you

You are a construction management specialist, a leader of people, a manager of performance and an advocate for safety. You own the results of your projects, you run them as you would your own business, and you get great pride from leading your team – this is what makes you one of the best at what you do.

Your technical and commercial knowledge is second to none, but equally so are your people skills. You know how to get the best from a team, driving high performance and providing the right support where needed. Some days you’ll be managing a business more so than managing a construction site, and you’re equally equipped to do both.

You are uncompromising in your quality standards, you appreciate the importance of systems and processes, and you’re committed to training and coaching your team, from your foremen and contract administrators to apprentices and cadets.

You invest in your subcontractors and ensure they hold the same values and safety standards as we do. You genuinely care about what success looks like for your clients and actively engage with them to deliver a solution that’s right for all parties.

Build a strong career with a reputable construction company that genuinely cares about the development of all staff. If you\’re ready to join a team that invests in your future, please APPLY NOW.
