McMullen Facades Ltd are currently looking for a diligent Quantity Surveyor to work closely with our Commercial Manager in managing the financial aspects of our projects.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the profitability and cost-effectiveness of our projects.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to prepare accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
Conduct thorough cost analysis and cost planning to optimise project budgets.
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Monitor project expenditures and track costs against budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and procurement strategies.
Provide support in resolving contractual and commercial issues as they arise.
Qualifications: 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Membership or eligibility for membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
