McMullen Facades Ltd are currently recruiting for Fabrication Operatives for our Portadown site. Excellent salary on offer starting at £14.00ph depending on skills and experience.

Your role:

  • You will be part of an exceptional team that is responsible for the fabrication of our bespoke windows, unitised and stick curtain walling, roof lights and doors.
  • Structural bonding of panels and flashings.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings.
  • Using work instructions/packages to interpret and fabricate aluminium/glass panels to the required standard.
  • Be competent in the use of hand and power tools (saws, grinders, crimpers, drills, and measuring equipment) used to assemble panels, windows and doors.
  • Check and inspect all work ensuring Quality documentation is completed at each stage of production.
  • Strive to meet daily targets on a production line in a busy and fast-paced production environment.
  • Operate as part of the pre-production facility team if and when required completing duties such as line side kitting, material preparation and assisting with material handling duties.

Experience:

  • Experience within the window/cladding industry will be an advantage.
  • Experience in using power tools/drill.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced factory environment.

  • Good verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative while contributing effectively to the team environment.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work in a busy production environment.
  • Excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as and when required.
