McManus Pubs is a family run business in Northants with 18 sites. We are looking for ambitious, driven people to join us across multiple roles, both front and back of house.

The Brampton Halt is our largest site with c.400 covers outside and 150 inside. We serve high quality pub food and have a large outside BBQ in Summer. We love putting on events such as Oktoberfest, fireworks, carols, Summer parties and beer festivals. We also have a marquee for up to 120 people where we hold all our private events such as weddings, birthdays and work parties.

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef/Kitchen Manager who has managed a fast paced kitchen and team. As Head Chef you can also use your creativity to create specials and themed food nights.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience of recruiting, managing and developing a strong motivated kitchen team
  • Passion for cooking great pub food
  • Ability to effectively control food and labour cost
  • Good knowledge of food preparation, stock rotation and all health & safety procedures
