Mc M is exclusively supporting a leading international main contractor to appoint an EHS Advisor for a flagship data centre development in London.

This is an opportunity to join a business recognised for delivering some of Europe's most technically challenging projects across mission-critical environments.

Reporting to the Project EHS Lead, you will play a key role in driving a positive health, safety and environmental culture across site, ensuring the highest standards of compliance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing practical health, safety and environmental advice to project teams.
  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of company EHS policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance reporting.
  • Completing risk assessments and investigating incidents where required.
  • Delivering toolbox talks and supporting workforce training initiatives.
  • Working closely with subcontractors to ensure compliance with site standards.
  • Promoting a proactive safety culture across all levels of the project.

We want to speak with candidates who have

  • A qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years' construction EHS experience.
  • Experience working for a main contractor, ideally on major projects.
  • Data centre experience is desirable, although candidates from other complex construction environments will be considered.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
