We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to support a large student accommodation project starting in June in Leeds city centre, with further projects to follow across Leeds. This is a permanent, site-based role offering the opportunity to manage on-site delivery on a major project within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing mechanical works on a large-scale site to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Managing site teams and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality standards
  • Coordinating mechanical installations including HVAC, pipework, and plant systems
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Liaising with project teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
  • Monitoring site progress and addressing any issues as they arise

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Strong mechanical background, including HVAC, pipework, and plant systems
  • Valid SSSTS/SMSTS certification
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects as a Mechanical or M&E Site Manager
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage site operations and workforce effectively
  • Commitment to health and safety and quality standards
  • Based within or able to work in Leeds
