Mc M Recruitment Solutions is working exclusively with a well-established civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Civils Project Manager to support the delivery of major infrastructure works across a long-term environmental framework in Yorkshire.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll take responsibility for the safe, timely and profitable delivery of multiple civil engineering schemes, working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

  • Managing projects from pre-construction through to final handover.
  • Leading site teams to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
  • Managing project programmes, commercial performance and risk.
  • Ensuring quality, environmental and health & safety standards are maintained.
  • Producing progress reports and attending client meetings.
  • Driving a positive culture across your project teams.

We're looking for candidates with

  • Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects for a main contractor.
  • Experience on Environment Agency frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with experience across water, flood defence, river engineering, wastewater, clean water, AMP frameworks or other environmental infrastructure projects are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A good understanding of NEC contracts.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
