We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to support a large student accommodation project starting in June in Leeds city centre, with further projects to follow across Leeds. This is a permanent, site-based role offering the opportunity to manage on-site delivery on a major project within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Overseeing mechanical works on a large-scale site to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Managing site teams and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Coordinating mechanical installations including HVAC, pipework, and plant systems
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures
- Liaising with project teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Monitoring site progress and addressing any issues as they arise
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Strong mechanical background, including HVAC, pipework, and plant systems
- Valid SSSTS/SMSTS certification
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects as a Mechanical or M&E Site Manager
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to manage site operations and workforce effectively
- Commitment to health and safety and quality standards
- Based within or able to work in Leeds
