Role Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established M&E and Facilities Management contractor.

This is a permanent opportunity working across a range of commercial sites throughout the Midlands and North West, including education, infrastructure, public sector, and secure environments.

With a strong pipeline of repeat business and long-standing client relationships, this role offers excellent long-term stability and career development opportunities.

  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
  • Servicing and maintaining commercial gas and oil-fired heating systems
  • Fault finding and repairing boilers, pumps, AHUs, and associated HVAC equipment
  • Diagnosing faults and ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and safely
  • Completing compliance documentation and statutory reports in line with current regulations
  • Working across a variety of commercial and public sector sites
  • Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Current Commercial Gas Safe qualifications (Non-Domestic ACS)
  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial heating systems
  • Experience working on commercial LPG, dual fuel, gas, and oil-fired equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Experience using tablet-based CAFM systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • OFTEC qualifications and electrical qualifications would be advantageous
