We are expanding! Due to increasing demand for support in Home & Community Care services, our team in the Newcastle area is looking for casual employees.
We are specifically seeking qualified Home Care Employees with a Certificate III in Individual Support. We highly value a candidate that is qualified in medication competency. We offer the opportunity to build a career, gain valuable on the job experience within the sector, whilst providing quality care to the elderly in your community.
The role of a Home Care Employee is varied and offers flexible work hours. Whether you\’re experienced or just starting out, there are plenty of opportunities to gain valuable on-the-job experience while you pursue your passion for quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure clients\’ comfort, dignity, and well-being. (Cert III in Individual Support required.)
- Household Assistance: Support clients with cleaning, meal preparation, and general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their independence.
- Social Engagement: Foster social interaction and provide companionship, offering emotional support to improve clients\’ quality of life and overall well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
