What you will be doing
The Community Liaison will work closely with the site team and report to the Project Manager. They will be responsible for working with a comprehensive range of community stakeholders, delivering opportunities for them to benefit from our project through a variety of different initiatives.
- Engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including the academic sector, industry groups, social business sectors, SME Trade Bodies and local and national government
- Working with project teams and key partners to assist delivery of agreed KPI’s
- Engaging with supply chain for information on training and employment objectives
- Providing support to the site teams in relation to the Considerate Constructors Scheme requirements
- Collating data from supply chain and project team to provide monthly reports for allocated projects KPI’s
- Contribute to business winning activities, as well as wider Company objectives and strategies
- Contribute to and lead meetings with project teams and stakeholders
- Quickly connect and establish credibility with people operating in key partners and stakeholder’s organisations
- Recognise potential partnership, product and service placement opportunities and act upon them
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience of developing and delivering Community Engagement initiatives
- Experience of dealing with local authorities and key stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- Full licence and access to own vehicle
