What you will be doing
The successful Digital Technician will join and be supported by our experienced team of Digital Technicians and provide visualisations for our pre-construction requirements and also the delivery of our live construction projects. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading in the preparation and development of 3D visualisations for tender and construction requirements, liaising with planners and submission managers
- Producing graphics and animated visualisations to demonstrate project delivery
- Utilisation of Adobe Creative applications to enhance 3D visualisations
- Accessing and extracting information from 3D models (IFC, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience using 3D modelling and rendering software
- Experience using Adobe Creative applications or similar
- Strong visual and graphical background
- Creative / artistic flair to generate new ideas
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales
- Time management skills and competence in prioritising workload
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team player
Desirable
- Use of associated software applications, including 3D modelling and rendering software (3ds Max, Revit, AutoCAD, Twinmotion, Lumion, etc.) and digital construction delivery software (Synchro 4D Pro, etc.)
- Use of Adobe Creative applications (Photoshop, AfterEffects, etc.)
- Knowledge / awareness of the construction process would be beneficial but not essential.
