Are you a talented communications professional with a passion for storytelling, stakeholder engagement and bringing major construction and civil engineering projects to life? We’re looking for a Communications Business Partner to join our Group Marketing & Communications team. We are a forward-thinking Company with an established presence across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Leading communications and PR activity for live construction and civil engineering projects.
  • Developing regional PR strategies to strengthen our local presence.
  • Managing media relations and securing coverage across trade and local press.
  • Producing high-quality content for web, social media, newsletters and internal channels.
  • Creating SEO‑optimised articles, case studies and project content.
  • Coordinating photography, videography and drone capture.
  • Supporting community engagement, public consultations and stakeholder events.
  • Preparing submissions for industry awards.
  • Reporting on communications KPIs and sharing insights with senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in communications, ideally within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure.
  • Strong PR and media relations skills, with confidence handling sensitive issues.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into engaging content.
  • Experience producing SEO‑focused content and using digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Communications, PR or a related discipline.
  • CIPR membership (desirable).
