McLaughlin & Harvey are one of the leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland. We are seeking to recruit a Learning & Development Administrator to join our busy team based in our Bellshill office. This is a part-time position (22.5 hours per week over 3 days), offering an excellent opportunity for an organised administrator to play a key role in supporting the development of our people while benefiting from a flexible working pattern that supports a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing training requirements identified through the company’s training matrix
  • Managing CSCS cards and other construction-related certifications
  • Overseeing CPCS processes, including training bookings, coordinating VQs, renewing certifications, and applying for cards
  • Arranging PDR training requests following approval
  • Collaborating with the HR team regarding training requirements for new employees
  • Booking non-mandatory training courses following approval
  • Distributing training evaluation forms and monitoring returns
  • Processing invoices and tracking credit card expenditure
  • Assisting with monthly reporting, including Board reports
  • Responding to general training-related enquiries from employees and managers
  • Monitoring and managing the Learning & Development shared mailbox

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
