McLaughlin & Harvey is one of the leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland. We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Bid Writer/Submissions Manager to join the construction bid writing team in Mallusk and will provide training and development. The Assistant Submissions Manager plays a vital role in driving the work winning function of McLaughlin & Harvey. Responsibilities The successful candidate will work on the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and support Submissions Managers with other tender proposals. Duties include, but are not limited to: Reviewing web portals for PQQ/Tender opportunities; Analysing PQQ/Tender for viability; Creating/updating PQQ/Tender information on company IT systems; Preparing written responses to PQQ/Tender questions; Liaising with internal and external parties to obtain information for submissions; Managing the clarification and RFI process; Proof-reading colleagues work; Preparing PowerPoint presentations for client interviews; Creating/updating standard marketing information; and Attending site visits/events. Qualifications Essential Degree level qualification ideally within a construction related discipline Experience Essential Enthusiastic and keen to develop within job role Strong written and oral communication skills; Strong IT and creative presentation skills; Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales; Time management and prioritising workload; Ability to work on own initiative; and Team player.
