McLaughlin & Harvey is one of the leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland. We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Bid Writer/Submissions Manager to join the construction bid writing team in Mallusk and will provide training and development. The Assistant Submissions Manager plays a vital role in driving the work winning function of McLaughlin & Harvey.
Responsibilities
- Work on the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and support Submissions Managers with other tender proposals.
- Reviewing web portals for PQQ/Tender opportunities.
- Analysing PQQ/Tender for viability.
- Creating/updating PQQ/Tender information on company IT systems.
- Preparing written responses to PQQ/Tender questions.
- Liaising with internal and external parties to obtain information for submissions.
- Managing the clarification and RFI process.
- Proof-reading colleagues’ work.
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations for client interviews.
- Creating/updating standard marketing information.
- Attending site visits/events.
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree level qualification ideally within a construction related discipline.
Experience
- Enthusiastic and keen to develop within job role.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong IT and creative presentation skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales.
