We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience in writing method statements, risk assessments, or other site-related documentation, and who are keen to apply this knowledge in a bid-winning environment.

What you will be doing
- Working closely with our bid management, submissions, technical and estimating teams to produce written technical content
- Lead the preparation, writing and editing of responses to PQQ and tenders, with a particular focus on the development and presentation of technical construction methodologies, programme narratives and construction sequencing
- Attending site visits during the tender period
- Preparing and attending presentations for client interviews
- Attend internal review meetings to ensure submission quality and alignment with deadlines
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Knowledge of construction techniques within a civil engineering environment, particularly on marine, rail, bridge, road, and flood alleviation projects
- Degree-qualified in a construction-related discipline or equivalent construction-industry experience
- Ability to develop and present complex construction methodologies to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong writing ability, particularly technical report writing or method statements
- Be able to effectively plan your own workload, working to tight deadlines
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management
Desirable
- Experience of working in pre-construction or bid environments
