What you will be doing

  • Working closely with our bid management, submissions, technical and estimating teams to produce written technical content
  • Lead the preparation, writing and editing of responses to PQQ and tenders, with a particular focus on the development and presentation of technical construction methodologies, programme narratives and construction sequencing
  • Attending site visits during the tender period
  • Preparing and attending presentations for client interviews
  • Attend internal review meetings to ensure submission quality and alignment with deadlines

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Knowledge of construction techniques within a civil engineering environment, particularly on marine, rail, bridge, road, and flood alleviation projects
  • Degree-qualified in a construction-related discipline or equivalent construction-industry experience
  • Ability to develop and present complex construction methodologies to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong writing ability, particularly technical report writing or method statements
  • Be able to effectively plan your own workload, working to tight deadlines
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management

Desirable

  • Experience of working in pre-construction or bid environments
