Senior Programme Manager of Series and Variants Model, reporting to Director of Programme Management Office and working closely with the VLDs, leads all aspects of programme delivery for assigned programmes including (but not limited to); product, design, quality, engineering, manufacturing, financial and associated commercial elements

What You'll Do

  • Agree, and manage project business case for full life cycle
  • Set and deliver robust project targets as agreed with the Leadership Team
  • Be responsible for the successful approval of all series project and MDP42 gateways, in line with programme timing targets
  • Successfully deliver to programme financial targets of the Series and Variants budget
  • Assist and provide day to day direction to the principle stakeholders to achieve a successful project that supports quality, cost and timing targets.
  • Lead a matrix organisation consisting of cross functional teams from across the wider business including, but not limited to; product, design, engineering, finance, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, service, quality and aftersales
  • Resolve programme level risks and cross functional conflicts
  • Lead programme meetings and gateways to manage all cross functional activities and meet timings, and elevate critical issues to VLD
  • Develop and manage programme budget and cash flow forecasting to support business requirements
  • Integrate the commodity strategy into programme delivery
  • Support and manage system and component, design, release, development, and validation plans in association with functional experts
  • Preparation and presentation of material to support programme status reviews.
  • Respond to requests for change with assessment of risk and cost and ensure full documentation via the change management process
  • Responsible for gateway readiness and recommendation to VLD
