Reporting to the Senior Manager of Production Planning within the Production Planning & Control team, the Senior Production Planner will play a vital role in executing the direction for the McLaren Production Centre (MPC) by engaging the relevant stakeholders and delivering a viable production plan, which satisfies the requirements of the sales plan and overarching business imperatives.
- Cover Production Planner/Senior Production Planner/Production Planning Manager when necessary
- Strong Excel and data manipulation & integration skills
- In depth SAP/ERP knowledge/experience
- Power BI knowledge
- A natural team player and collaborator, encouraging a positive and supportive environment
- Proven ability to work within tight deadlines & be able to manage and prioritise multiple activities simultaneously
- Creates a progressive, supportive working environment in which respect, ownership, discipline and trust that fosters a high-performing team

- Proven track record working cross-functionally to support with operational improvements

- Comprehensive grasp of production planning principles and objectives
- The ability to organise and chair meetings that will be clear action focussed events
- Previous experience of working in an automotive, assembly or manufacturing environment
- Involvement/knowledge in new product development projects will be an advantage
