The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Supporting the Logistics department, you will work with personnel from both MTC and MPC. You shall also deal with external customers as part of our daily business. Stores functions, Quality, Transport drivers and Production to ensure material requirements for all model builds are satisfied in a timely and accurate manner.
What You'll Do
- Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to, the build process (PES) is followed to build a supercar to the desired standard and to escalate any build issues to your leader within takt.
- Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious goals as a company.
What You'll Bring
- Understand and follow detailed process documents relating to the assembling of vehicles.
- Ensure that the standard of the vehicles is to the highest quality, with the ability to feedback to technicians any concerns found.
- Ability to elevate to your leader any concerns that may be affecting the quality, cost or productivity of the vehicles being produced.
- Ensure 5s within your work area in line with McLaren expectations.
- Maintain standards such as using the uniform/ clothing provided.
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards is essential. The technician must always adhere to safety protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as requested by your line manager.
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn is essential within this role as you will be expected to understand multiple processes to ensure coverage.
- Ability to conduct on process training for any new employees entering the business at technician level or learning a new process within your area.
