The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Someone with a good attitude and understanding of the variance of the role from day to day, good skills in terms of working with equipment and data logging. Compliance with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy requirements within the area of responsibility.

Effective logging and documentation of reactive and planned maintenance tasks. Assistance in the sign off Future Technologies to be utilised within MPC. Source and order specialist components, fixtures, and fixings. The ability to problem solve and good attitude/flexibility to work on many different aspects with McLaren Production Centre from Body assembly, Paint and General Assembly.

The ability to log data in terms of Mean time to repair/KPI. Electrical/Mechanical recognised engineering skills – will be subject to practical test i.e. NVQ Diploma / BTEC / HND / Apprenticeship. Experience of fault finding and maintenance activity on PC, PLC and electromechanically controlled production equipment and the ability to use technical instruments when required.

Robust experience in a similar role and industry. Experience in electrical cable repairs with an ability to solder and welding experience would be advantageous. Knowledge of automated control systems and manufacturing and process equipment is required. Ability to read technical drawings to include electrical, mechanical and when required 3D drawings of bespoke solutions and BOMs.

Effective communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative but also cohesively within a small professional team.
