The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities across site operations. Working closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams, you will ensure preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks are efficiently planned and executed to maximise equipment availability and minimise operational disruption.

You will play a key role in managing the site CMMS, ensuring accurate data integrity, effective work order control, and clear visibility of maintenance requirements. The role also supports continuous improvement, inventory control, contractor coordination, and the production of maintenance performance reporting to support operational decision making.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain the site CMMS, ensuring accurate planning, scheduling, and tracking of all maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules aligned to production requirements.
  • Create, prioritise, and distribute maintenance work orders, ensuring timely completion.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production and engineering teams to minimise operational disruption.
  • Maintain accurate CMMS data, including asset records, work orders, and maintenance histories.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, including stock accuracy, minimum levels, and purchasing activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee external contractors, ensuring safe and compliant execution of work.
  • Support maintenance reporting, including KPIs such as downtime, PM compliance, and asset performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company procedures, including permit to work systems where required.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requirements and support prioritisation of reactive work.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning, scheduling, and maintenance processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ideally eMaint.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes.
  • Experience with procurement systems and purchasing processes, ideally SAP.
  • Stores and spare parts inventory management experience.
  • Experience managing or coordinating contractors.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning principles and asset data management.
  • Ability to interpret maintenance data and support reporting of key performance indicators.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and CMMS platforms.
