Manufacturing Quality Inspector

To work as part of the McLaren Manufacturing Quality team producing ultimate series road cars. Also, to perform quality audits to ensure concerns are identified that issues are not released into the market. What You\’ll Do Perform in-depth inspection audits of vehicles released from the production line Conduct legislation compliance inspections Perform paint inspections Inspect exterior and interior fit & finish Perform vehicle function checks Communicate audit scores, activities, and escalations during daily start of shift / shift handover Support daily quality meetings Raise quality notifications for concerns based on set thresholds Extract data from the CDB database for daily meetings and start-ups Ensure vehicle reworks meet standards Sign off vehicles and release to FOK Conduct final car buyoff post detailing and wrapping (if necessary) Support MSO audits for final MSO buyoff of ultimate / MSO vehicles and heavy MSO content Maintain data in MS Access, Excel, and PowerPoint for feedback Assist with benchmarking activities as needed Be flexible to support off-site activities (Chipping, dealer visits, etc.) What You\’ll Bring Experience in a quality, manufacturing, or process-driven environment Ability to follow process instructions Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Understanding of quality standards and application Ability to use hand and power tools if required Personal Attributes Valid clean driving license Self-motivated with time management skills Ability to work well independently and in a team High attention to detail Willingness to work short notice and overtime, including weekends What We\’ll Do for You 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with buy & sell option for up to 5 days Enhanced pension scheme Discretionary annual bonus Private medical insurance and health cash plan Life assurance (4x salary) Option to apply for a sabbatical after 2 years Flexible benefits such as discounted shopping Generous parental leave policies Wellbeing initiatives including employee assistance and financial advice Friends and family day Opportunities to experience McLaren cars Who Are We?
