The role of the Group Leader is to co-ordinate the day to day activities of a multi-functional team, reporting into the Production Manager. The role is also responsible for the control of holiday and absence management, Health & Safety, cost & quality control as well as productivity improvement, via your responsible Team Leaders and production resource.
Control all Health & Safety requirements for all equipment / Processes and team members on shift, this will include completion of Risk Assessments. A broad knowledge of the build process to provide training & maintain Team Member versatility charts and ensure cross training & skills development.
