The Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the automotive sector. The role exists to analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and support the development of innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and product development.
What You'll Do
- Partner with stakeholders across Commercial (sales, Marketing, Aftersales etc) to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities and optimise the end-to-end business processes.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements to support project objectives and organisational goals, translating them into functional specifications for IT development teams.
- Translate requirements into viable IT solutions that are aligned with the business strategy and goals, solution principles and using standard functionality.
- Analyse existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Commercial and wider IT & Digital team to identify process improvements and implement data-driven solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather insights and validate business needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all business analysis activities.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of IT solutions that enable commercial strategies and processes.
- Manage the documentation, training materials, and user guides for all integrated systems, ensuring consistent and accurate information is available across teams.
- Work with Business Change for Adoption on aspects such as Business Change impacts.
What You'll Bring
- Understanding of core Commercial business processes.
- Good knowledge and understanding of end-to-end Commercial business processes.
- Experience of using a broad range of business analysis practices & tools to support change delivery.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Understanding of integration of Commercial systems within the wider IT & Digital.
- Analytical skills to evaluate complex business problems and design effective solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating clear and comprehensive documentation and an ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops, present requirements and processes in a clear, logical manner.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Able to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate discussions between diverse teams.
- Proactive and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
