This is a critical role in supporting the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of one of the most significant civil engineering schemes in the country. Role Overview: As a P6 Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring that all construction and engineering works are accurately planned, monitored, and reported. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and maintain robust, resource-loaded programmes in Primavera P6. · Work closely with project teams to integrate planning activities across civil engineering packages. · Monitor progress and update schedules to reflect project performance. · Conduct critical path analysis and identify key risks and opportunities. · Support reporting requirements with clear, data-driven insights. · Provide planning input into change management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder reporting. Requirements: · Proven experience as a P6 Planner on major infrastructure projects (ideally £500m+). · Strong civil engineering background, with experience in areas such as earthworks, structures, utilities, and transport infrastructure. · Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. · Solid understanding of project controls, earned value, and schedule risk analysis. · Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. · Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
