We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Quality Assurance engineer to join a major infrastructure project at Heathrow Airport, working on the airport's baggage handling system. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a prestigious project, with work available through to December 2027.
Location: Heathrow Airport
Rate: 350 - 450 per day
Duration: Until December 2027
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Essential Criteria:
- Mechanical / MEPH Background: Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Quality Inspector or Mechanical Engineer working on large-scale mechanical building services packages.
- Infrastructure Experience: Prior experience working on major UK infrastructure schemes (e.g., rail, water, data centres, or aviation).
Purpose of the role: The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (Mechanical) will focus on the quality management system (QMS), executing progressive assurance and driving a right first time delivery culture in a live, highly regulated airport environment.
