We're seeking a Fire Suppression Sprinkler Design Engineer to play a key leadership role in the design, coordination, and delivery of Fire Suppression, Hydrant, and Dry/Wet Riser systems on a high-profile rail project.

This is an excellent opportunity to influence large-scale infrastructure while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The Role As the Fire Suppression Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful project delivery from concept through to installation and certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and verification of Fire Suppression Systems in accordance with BS9990, BS EN 12845, and other relevant standards.
  • Review and coordinate designs produced by MEP consultants and contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, constructability, and maintainability.
  • Develop complex Fire Alarm Cause & Effect documentation and manage third-party system interfaces.
  • Support Engineering Managers in resolving technical interface issues and ensuring seamless system integration.
  • Drive technical excellence through value engineering and standardisation initiatives.
