Mechanical Quality Assurance engineer We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Quality Assurance engineerr* to join a major infrastructure project at Heathrow Airport, working on the airport's baggage handling system*. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a prestigious project, with work available through to December 2027. Location: Heathrow Airport Rate: £350–£450 per day Duration: Until December 2027 Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 Essential Criteria: Mechanical / MEPH Background: Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Quality Inspector or Mechanical Engineer working on large-scale mechanical building services packages. Infrastructure Experience: Prior experience working on major UK infrastructure schemes (e.g., rail, water, data centres, or aviation). Purpose of the role: The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (Mechanical) will focus on the quality management system (QMS), executing progressive assurance and driving a ‘right first time’ delivery culture in a live, highly regulated airport environment. The purpose of this role is to support and be part of the £35 million MEPH (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health and HVAC) Infrastructure project at Heathrow Terminal 2.
