Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer (Nights)
Working Pattern
- Sunday to Thursday nights
- Permanent, long-term works

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, fault finding and handover of fire detection and alarm systems across Network Rail stations, working primarily on:
- Morley IAS
- AEL fire alarm systems
Reporting to a Project Manager, the role includes commissioning activities, technical testing, certification, client liaison, progress reporting and ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with BS 5839-1 and Hawk-Fire procedures.
Essential Experience
Applicants should ideally have
- Minimum 5 years' experience in fire alarm commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of Morley IAS and AEL fire alarm systems.
- Experience working within live, operational environments (Network Rail experience desirable).
- Good fault-finding and commissioning abilities.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining excellent communication with the project team.

- FIA BS 5839 certification
- CSCS Card
- SSSTS (desirable)
- PASMA / IPAF (desirable)
- First Aid at Work (desirable)
- Experience with addressable fire alarm systems and associated commissioning documentation.
