Our 13-month Engineering Internship offers you the opportunity to contribute to McLaren Racing's performance while gaining first-hand experience of how a Formula 1 team operates. The placement will begin in July 2027 and sit within one of four areas: Aerodynamics - including CFD, Wind Tunnel Tech, Aero Design and Aero Operations Design - including Bodywork, Monocoque, Pit Equipment, Suspension, Systems, Transmission and Process Improvement Performance -including Competitor Analysis, Performance Analysis, Simulation Engineering and Vehicle Dynamics Racing -including Strategy, Pitstops previous motorsport experience is welcome but not essential. Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to apply existing knowledge to unfamiliar problems. A clear communicator who can present information effectively and work well within a close-knit team.
