The Strategic Communications Lead will play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful, aligned communications that reflect the values and ambition of a globally recognised luxury automotive brand. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications, you will support the development of the company\’s corporate communications strategy while also ensuring consistency of messaging and governance across all channels and functions. This role requires a strong corporate storyteller with exceptional writing skills who can quickly grasp complex ideas and distil them into compelling narratives, thinking strategically about how messaging drives reputation and business impact.
What You\\\’ll Do
Corporate Communications and Storytelling
- Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging corporate messaging that reflects and reinforces our brand values and business priorities.
- Create impactful content for the CEO and executive team, ensuring tone and messaging resonate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactively engage with teams across the business to uncover meaningful stories and insights, working collaboratively to transform these into compelling stories that bring our brand, heritage, innovation and people to life across all channels.
- Support planning and responses for sensitive or crisis communications, ensuring clarity and risk mitigation.
Strategic Communications Support
- Work with the Director of Strategic Communications to establish and maintain governance structures, templates, tone of voice guidelines and messaging alignment across all communications touchpoints and functions.
- Lead specific projects or initiatives to ensure messaging consistency across all platforms and channels.
Public Relations and Media Engagement
- Serve as a key contact for certain media enquiries and nurture relationships with journalists and industry influencers.
- Draft press releases, media kits, and other materials for corporate news, milestones, and events.
- Monitor media coverage and provide analysis to leadership with actionable insights.
What You\\\’ll Bring
Bachelor\\\’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. (preferred) Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications. Background in luxury or brand-driven industries is a strong advantage..
