The McLaren Accelerator function is a team of specialist practitioners in McLaren Racing and our wider network, applying our expertise, processes and culture from elite motorsport to help overcome our Partners' business challenges. We combine F1-derived technology and cultural approach with the Partner’s specialist domain knowledge, to deliver measurable results against their objectives. Our High-Performance Programmes deliver this knowledge and experience to partners via immersive and engaging leadership training offerings.
Purpose of the Role:
- Lead one or two High-Performance Programmes for our commercial partners, making McLaren Racing’s expertise available to our partner organisations.
- Utilise your Partner management skills to support and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Ensure programmes are well structured and continually deliver on the partner goals.
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for the partner team and develop partner high Performance and Culture programmes incorporating numerous exciting offerings, topics and delivery styles.
- Play a key role in coordinating and developing the programmes as well as the content behind them.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Relationship management of key stakeholders and be a day-to-day point of contact on the projects you are allocated to.
- Develop a deep understanding of partner’s culture/leadership strategies, objectives, and KPI’s / metrics.
- Manage the execution of Culture and Leadership development programmes for our partner organisations, ensuring their successful delivery against contract and KPIs.
- Tailor and develop culture and leadership development content for learning programmes that you and the team are running.
- Facilitate sessions and develop a specialism in an area of our ‘High-Performance’ offering so that you can deliver parts of our training to partner teams.
- Manage logistical elements of programmes, coordinating with attendees, events teams, speakers and virtual delivery providers.
- Work with specialists across the business who will deliver key content to our partner stakeholders.
- Lead in coordination of key assets relating to your culture & leadership programmes, such as supporting on the delivery of collateral, merchandise, internal events, social media and digital assets.
- Work with the broader Accelerator High-Performance team to ensure all projects are inline with our overall strategic approach and to deliver revenue and EBIT targets.
- Work with McLaren’s People and Sustainability teams to ensure synergies and best practice are shared and disseminated across the business.
- Lead on asset tracking against partner rights, to ensure that we are successfully delivering against contracts.
- Support the team on development of new materials, approaches and offerings – in particular we have digital learning offerings we would like you to get involved with.
- Support with idea generation and creative thinking.
- Apply storytelling and any visual communication skills to how we share our offerings.
- Conduct lessons learned exercises, documenting, and then implementing key action points from these reviews.
Job requirements Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management experience/skills - this is critical to the role.
- Results driven Problem Solver – comfortable with ambiguity, learn and adapt previous approaches and problem solve for the partner using appropriate techniques.
- Experience working in consulting or in delivering unique Culture/leadership programmes or have experience operating in a high-performance environment.
- Experience working on talent topics related to: culture, leadership, data, strategy, innovation, lean, human performance (some of).
- Project/programme management and co-ordination experience, working with multifaceted, complex programmes and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of and confident in facilitating and presenting.
- Experience and comfort working with senior leaders.
- Storytelling skills.
- Experience delivering on time, to budget and against project KPI’s.
- Experience working on DE&I and talent development programmes is a bonus.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Here at McLaren, we offer hybrid working with 3 days a week based in the MTC. Our state of the art, sustainable campus offers many facilities including a gym, restaurant and indoor and outdoor break-out areas, as well as direct access to park and common land. The MTC is connected to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London Waterloo is a 30 minute train ride.
