The Indirect Procurement team manages the sourcing of goods and services that support all non-car-related functions at McLaren Racing. This includes areas such as Commercial, Business Performance, Marketing, Heritage, IT, and Facilities. The team plays a key role in ensuring strategic procurement decisions align with the new cost cap regulations introduced in Formula 1 in 2026.

This role requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively under time constraints. It will be responsible for supporting PO creation, P2P cycle, supplier onboarding, and typical procurement operations that contribute to the success of McLaren Racing’s business functions. Our Operatives are expected to carry out complex tasks and activities which provide supporting services helping to facilitate Indirect Procurement.

Role Dimensions: This role is Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm following a hybrid working policy and will be based at the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) in Woking, Surrey.

Principal Accountabilities: We would expect the following from successful candidates:

  • Integrate quickly into the team to support procurement operations.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks with guidance from experienced team members.
  • Contribute to sourcing activities, supplier communications, and data analysis.
  • Support documentation and reporting aligned with cost cap compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders as well as with our supply chain.
